Claire Humphries works as a Research Laser Consultant at The University of the West of England, her specialism being in the creative use of CO2 lasers.

Her work as an artist is very much based around the practice of using digital technologies. Her personal work 'drawing with lasers' in various media results in delicate, hand finished pieces, examples of which can be viewed by clicking on the images to the left.

Claire also works on a freelance basis as a designer, as a part time lecturer in laser textiles and a part time lecturer in CAD for fashion and textiles.
